Its getting to that time of year when lots of students are going for interviews for either placements, work experience for the summer and even jobs for when they graduate. And at this important time it is essential to give a great first impression and look your absolute best. Luckily, there are some great, affordable clothes on the high street at the moment, which can make you look like the perfect employee and stand out from the crowd.
A key staple in any working woman’s wardrobe is the perfect blazer. H and M do some great blazer’s and with most of them being under £30 they are a real bargain. This particular black blazer is perfect as it is not too fussy, and so can go with anything. It also comes in light grey if you would prefer a lighter colour for the summer.
A skirt and blouse combination is also a great necessity. This blush Tophop pencil skirt is perfect and can be
worn with black tights in the winter and bare legged in the summer. Wear it with this gorgeous peter pan collared, chiffon blouse from Zara, which would also look great with some tailored trousers.
The final staple in your work wear wardrobe is a classic, black shift dress. This one from Forever21, is perfect

The sculpted shoulders add a unique flare to what would otherwise be a very simple dress, and for a splash of colour add a bright waist belt to it. For example this pink patent skinny waist belt from Accessorize.
A pair of comfy shoes is also a must, and if you cannot bear the idea of being in heels then these black loafers
from Office are a fantastic alternative.
